Blowing Things Out of Proportion

Feeling movement, Rin instinctively tried to stop it, his arms securing around the source of warmth as it moved. A muffled noise escaped him, though nothing intelligible. He was still quite obviously asleep as Aoi tried to escape his grasp.

Aoi froze. Rin refused to let her go, he always did...and a blush filled her face. Even in his sleep he wanted to be close to her. That muffled noise was cute but she had...had to get back! Even if it was only to clock out.

"Mm, shirousa you have to...let go... I have to go back for a bit. Just a bit." Aoi's voice was soft, hoping the that if she kept it low she could convince the sleeping Rin while he was still sleeping.

"Mm..m..." It was a late response, but Aoi was given another muffled noise in response; the warmth was trying to leave and that wasn't good...

Letting go would be bad...

Despite that asleep mentality, Rin's secure hold...while still secure, had loosened enough to slip out of with some effort, as he was too asleep to hang on with too much strength.

Rin was too cute... Shaking her head, Aoi's will wavered. She did not want to leave these warm arms! This nice hold...

Moving like a worm, she wiggled and tried to escape his arms and finally popped out! Yes! Sitting there, she celebrated her triumph.

At the loss of the warmth, Rin seemed to try to snuggle himself into his pillow and sheets to make up for it, another muffled sleep noise escaping him.

Mm, where'd the warmth go?

Aoi couldn't resist it. Rin snuggling to the pillow and sheets was too much! Especially with that noise! Her phone came out, she took a picture and saved it before leaning down and kissing his forehead. "I love you Rin and I'll be back in a bit. Sleep well."

She could...when he was asleep. Her face lightly red, she hopped down from the bed and out of the wall after writing a small note explaining what had happened.

It was a little while later, maybe half an hour at most before Rin finally started to wake up. He continued lying there for a bit longer, his mind slowly getting rid of its sleep-filled state.

Hm...?

Sitting up, he brought an arm to his eyes before lowering it, looking around and...

Aoi...? She wasn't here...Where'd...?

It was then he noticed the note, and once it was in his hands he read over it. Ah, right...her work...
