Jobs Are a Pain Empty
PostSubject: Jobs Are a Pain   Jobs Are a Pain I_icon_minitimeSun Aug 17, 2014 3:27 am

Iyuki walked up to his little brothers apartment building, the small one with the few tiny rooms... He felt such a place was below the man, but Muika and him would quickly attempt homicide if placed in one decently sized apartment for extended periods of time.

He was taking Hibiki to the Cafe, they did need a bit of help and Iyuki's recommendation meant they would interview this young man first before looking in other places. Hibiki had traits that would be valued at the cafe... They had need of another maid now as well, since one had taken over Manager position. It seems the owner and former manager was moving up in the world and was opening another one in a nearby town.

Still, for now he would take Hibiki to the job and introduce him and see if they wanted the man. There was a bit of incentive Iyuki had that he was playing close to his chest, at least for now. Moving to the door, he knocked politely. "Hibiki? It is I, Iyuki."

Aito ran a hand through his hair, giving a small yawn as he moved it out of his face. His eyes glanced over to Regalia, who was sitting at the window napping under the sun; lucky cat, could sleep all day and no judgement...

His attention was grabbed though at hearing a knock, though at the voice he let out a small breath before standing.

"Mn..." Opening the door, Aito greeted the other man with his usual composed expression.

"Good afternoon, are you ready?" Iyuki blinked with a warm smile, stepping back. He gave Hibiki a once over hoping this would go well though they honestly were quite willing to hire just about anyone at this point.

As long as they were handsome and could learn how to take orders that it.

"Yeah..." He was dressed, he had his coat and everything on already, he'd just been mostly sitting around before Iyuki had showed up...

Had it been much longer he might have thought about napping, considering the cat doing so...it was almost like she was mocking him.

Iyuki nodded, moving away from the door and keeping the smile on and he waved his arm out. He glanced in at Regalia napping and hid a laugh. "I apologize for you having to keep her here, but I do not think bringing her would be too smart. The Manager may steal her or attempt to."

He'd wait for the man to lock up before leading him along the way. Iyuki was not dressed for work, his uniform there for now otherwise he'd show Hibiki it.

"s'Fine...She's sleeping anyway." Aito replied, moving to lock up before he moved to follow Iyuki.

It seemed when it came to cats, especially kittens, plenty of people got that "I want to steal it" glint in there eyes...he'd started noticing...

Iyuki led him along the street, ignoring any looks this early in the day. Both of them were wearing dark coats in the heat, kind of a bit of an odd sight. Neither of them liked the sun it seemed...

"...If I could find another job for you I would, but you lack a few important things that would help you. I can at least smooth the way here for you, make it easier and less questions asked and if you do end up working here, you will have a record of work." He felt a bit odd forcing the quiet man into such a public job, but well it was work and Hibiki was rather good for this he felt. A Tsundere would be quite wanted.

"A...Ah..." Whatever, it was a job; if he got it, then he could make money, if not, oh well, he'd try elsewhere. He might as well start easy though, if the other male thought this was a good place to start anyway...

Lack a few things though...?

"You should speak your thoughts at the moment. It might help if you had questions or worries?" Iyuki raised an eyebrow and glanced over at the other young man. He could be a sparkle happy adorable housewife, but there were times when he was serious and a bit more stoic. This used to be his default before Muika and well he felt at ease being like this when she wasn't around to get him to open up more.

"I will try my best to help and answer whatever you need. It is what I am here for at the moment."

"There's nothing important on my mind." Aito replied; there wasn't anything to be concerned over. That thought of his wasn't important, it'd just been a passing one.

He gave a small nod at Iyuki's following words, "Mn."

Iyuki nodded and his blue eyes went back to the sidewalk, content to walk in silence. It reminded him of walks with Muika, though decidedly less smiles and much less sparkle. The sidewalks probably appreciated such a thoughtful break from their usual abuse when he walked past with his dearest.

Aito, not being one to just start up conversations, continued to walk in silence; he didn't mind the quietness, considering it was how he usually was, though...the other male was usually much more ecstatic...

Iyuki didn't even have his usual smile on, just a soft expression as he looked around. Stopping at a street light, he pressed the button and waited patiently to cross over. He wasn't using his power for now, it was a bit more flashy than before so it was harder to unobtrusively use it. Once the light turned, he moved to walk across the street. They'd soon reach the cafe, it wasn't too much farther.

He wasn't sure how much farther there destination was, though so far they hadn't been walking unbearably long, so Aito was fine with it. He stopped when Iyuki went to press the button so they could properly cross for traffic before he began walking again.

PostSubject: Re: Jobs Are a Pain   Jobs Are a Pain I_icon_minitimeSat Aug 23, 2014 12:53 am

Ahead of them was a bit of a flashier shop, Royale Serviteur, with its cafe specials stand outside of it. The sign was still turned over for closed, though it would be only an hour or so until it opened.

Moving to the door, Iyuki opened it and the smell of coffee and tea drifted out. Two women looked up and smiled. "Yuki-nii! Oooh is that your friend?"

The younger looking one wiping down tables so they were perfect, put a finger to her lips. That was a cute one, she was pleased.

The slightly older one rolled her eyes, though she did shoot him an appreciative glance from behind the counter. "Oh good, you are here. Come sit up here, we can talk about things from over here. I'm Aiko, the Manager here and Iyuki told us a bit about you."

He definitely passed the looks test, if the younger maid was any judge.

Iyuki nodded and looked at Aito, nudging his head forward. "I will be in back Otouto."

If the young man couldn't deal with this on his own...he would be in trouble. The Manager already knew enough that Iyuki felt she wouldn't ask too many personal questions at least.

PostSubject: Re: Jobs Are a Pain   Jobs Are a Pain I_icon_minitimeSat Aug 23, 2014 1:15 am

Aito was quiet as they entered the building, though inside he was still completely...he didn't even know about what this job actually was.

"A-Ah..." He replied to Iyuki as the other man left before his attention moved to the woman that had addressed herself as Aiko. He resisted the urge to bring his hand to his hair, keeping it pocketed as he moved to sit like she'd suggested.

If Iyuki had already told them about him then what was he supposed to say...

"Aito Yoshioka..." He introduced, even if they probably already knew that...

"Nice to meet you Yoshioka." Aiko nodded, putting her hands together and getting down to business. He seemed like a quiet person... Would the Tsun pan out though?

"So I'll let you know what we need. We are a Maid and now Butler Cafe, we serve the ladies and men that come in here looking for tasty treats of both the eyes and the mouth really. Iyuki tends to the food, so we don't need you to have experience cooking. If we could leave him to serving the counter and the baking it would be a bit easier on him.

What we need is a Waiter, someone who can serve food and drinks and take orders... Being as we are a specialty cafe though, we tend to be a little more..."

"Flamboyant?" The maid cleaning piped up in a cheerful voice.

"No, not the word... I suppose acting? She plays the role of the teasing maid while on work hours. I used to play the role of an older sister type... Iyuki plays the princely servant butler, though that seems his default really... Anyways, the people come in and they want that. I have heard you have Tsundere tendencies, is this true?" Aiko peered at Aito curiously.

Yeah...he'd definitely seen this was exactly that when he'd seen the place; seriously...Iyuki had brought him to a damn maid and butler cafe...for a job interview...

A waiter...wait flam-

Before the thought could pass his mind, along with the following "What the hell did that guy tell them about me?" they were cut off, by...

"Tch-" It'd come out automatically at that...damn word. "I am not a tsundere..."

"...He even did the Tch..." There was a stunned silence at the reply, both women staring for a moment before Aiko laughed and slapped the counter for a moment. She was an exuberant woman, especially by Japanese standards.

Wiping her eyes from tears, she shook her head. "If you can do THAT everyday, as well as take down orders and serve drinks and food? I think we can have a nice working relationship here."

Aiko looked at Aito, they had wanted an informal interview... Iyuki's word was rather trusted it seemed but he hadn't lied about the Tsun. For a small shop like theirs this was a gold mine. A Tsundere Butler would bring in ladies... especially since it seemed so genuine.

...

Aito resisted the urge to become heavily annoyed, though his eye had twitched; he was not a tsundere! How many times did he need to say it!? What was wrong with this "tch!?"

Do what everyday!? That was just how he was, but it was not tsun tendencies!

"A-Ah..."

God damn it...

"Is that a yes or a no?" Aiko blinked, not well read on Tsunnese. She looked over at the maid washing who shrugged. No idea.

"You'll have to fill out paperwork, but do you want this job or not?"

Paperwork, just...ignore those stupid questions...

"Great!" Aiko seemed utterly pleased with this, glad they had secured such a person. His looks with his quiet nature plus the Tsun that showed up sometimes... Yesss...

Bending down, she pulled out a clipboard with places for him to sign and fill out information. Setting that on the counter, she pulled a pen from her shirt pocket and set it down. "When you are done, let me go over it and make sure its filled out correctly... Normally we'd do more interviews, but this is a small shop and we'd prefer to keep it close knit really. If you feel up to it today, Iyuki or I can show you the ropes a bit. Otherwise tomorrow afternoon would be fine, if it works for you?"

"A...Ah..." Aito expected the pen, ignoring everything around him as he filled out this damn paperwork; when Aiko mentioned her or Iyuki showing him around he gave a small nod without thinking, though really...today was fine, wasn't like he planned anything else. "s'Fine today..."

Eugh, he felt it was going to be a long...long day...

"Great! We open in a bit, but for now I'll send you back with Iyuki. He can teach you how to make a few things, don't worry he does all the baking in his little... shrine back there." Aiko rolled her eyes, but continued. "But as long as you don't burn water, you can pick up a bit. Lattes, parfaits and sundaes are the hardest to make really. Well other coffee based drinks as well, but most of the rest just requires you to serve it."

All this stuff Iyuki could teach him, though she also would be doing that for now. They still needed a replacement Maid for her position, as well as the one who recently had to move for other work, so she was a bit short handed...
