Special Delivery

Waiting for Muika to strip properly, Mia just looked away and made sure to make notations for her records as well. Aoi might ask her to do something for Muika again and it would be helpful again... Muika might ask herself. She felt a bit kind towards the also quiet woman, maybe they could become friends?

"D-Do you like sweets? I made... a bunch of candy recently... S-So if you want you can...take some home..." Mia offered shyly, looking at the floor. "Oh! I...never asked...y-you are a fulbringer right? Wh-What kinds of powers do you have? I-I am sorry if its too personal but..."

"M-Mhmm..." Muika gave a small nod at Mia's question about sweets; she'd made it though? Well...she had made the cake earlier, and it had been really good...

Hm? Powers...?

"I-It's fine...I uh..." She moved the arm holding her item when Mia wasn't taking measurements near it. "Projectile...blade, and a secondary ability...is like...illusions, I guess..." Though they would only change her appearance, nothing else it seemed...

"Ah, th-thank you. I didn't want it to go to waste..." Mia seemed a bit relieved, happy Muika would be taking some home. Hopefully she could take a few bags... She had overdone it just a bit with the candy making...

Mia glanced over at the arm with the chain and pretty pendant on the end. She smiled softly, feeling more and more at ease... Lots of practice with Masaru and others had helped and this woman was very sweet. "Its really pretty... A blade sounds useful and illusions too. What kinds?"

She knew a bit about fullbringer's powers, so it was easy to figure out that it must turn into something. Though she wondered about the illusions...

"Welcome." Muika replied, in response to Mia's relief over the candy.

"I can...change my appearance, so if I needed to get away or hide or anything...it's useful for those scenarios...I can make myself appear like anything really..." She answered, glancing down at the chained gem around her wrist for a short moment.

"O-Oh! That is really really cool!" Mia's eyes widened as she heard a bit more about what those illusions could be used for. Now that was a fun power... She giggled slightly, trying to not blush as she measured more private areas.

"So you could look like... a trashcan? Or a kitten? And no one would notice..."

"M-Mm..." Muika gave a small nod, "Yeah..."

She'd only used it as practice so far...so she could learn to properly control the ability. So far she had yet to use it for utterly serious purposes...though there had been that one time when Seiya had shown up, which she was thankful that it'd worked that time...

So that was one serious incident she guessed...

"Ah, so many uses..." Mia, as someone who hid in a cloak most of the time, could think of many uses for such a power. Hers...hers was flashy. Very flashy, there were very few things she could do without someone knowing.

Finishing up those measurements, she stopped for a moment to make sure she had noted them all in both sheets for now. "I really like your power..."

"Th-Thanks..." Liked her power...She supposed, it was useful...as she'd thought before; it could be useful if she wanted to get away from things, and her blade was reliable when she didn't have the option of running...

"Welcome... Hehe... Mine just..." Mia held out her fingers on her left hand, violet flames appearing on the tips for a moment before they disappeared. Checking her notes, she realized that they were almost done. Moving to measure the last ones, she smiled up at Muika. "A-Almost done... Just a few more..."

That was...fire, but it was purple...

Almost as soon as she'd seen them, they diminished, disappearing from Mia's finger. She had control over fire then? "It seems...like that could be a powerful ability to have..."

Definitely useful in a fight if she were faced with one...

"'K-Kay..." Muika added as Mia mentioned being almost done with the measurements.

"...Its...a hassle...I used to...set things on fire as a child...accidentally." Mia murmured softly, getting the final one before she stood up and smiled as she noted it in her notepad.

"Th-There. A-All done... I-If you'd prefer...when its ready... I can come to the human world... to do the final..." Mia felt...safer offering this to the woman now. Before she'd been too nervous and scared, but Muika was a nice person...

Well...that part had to be terrible, it was good she'd learned to control it from the looks of things...

When Muika heard that Mia was done, she moved to dress herself again, and gave a nod; "T-That sounds fine...Whatever's easiest..." That wouldn't be a hassle, would it? Though...getting the okay to bring her here might be a bigger one...even if Aoi had the authority now, she'd still had to do some setting up...

"I-I...think I can now. B-Before... I was too scared..." Mia admitted, feeling a bit ashamed of her reluctance despite the request. She gave Muika a sheepish grin and moved to the library door, opening it once Muika was dressed.

Looking inside, she gave a sigh and pointed. "L-Look at them...completely out..."

Aoi was snuggled up to a sleeping Masaru, much like a little sister on the oversized couch. She had crawled under the cloak and was using Masaru's outstretch arm a pillow, her arm thrown haphazardly across him along with one of her legs.

"Mm..." It was understandable...she guessed; both of them were...obviously shy, so it would probably be nerve wracking to go to the home of someone she hardly knew...Muika could understand...definitely.

Following Mia to the door to the library, she looked inside as the woman sighed and pointed.

She was right...they were completely out. "Seems like it..."

"I-I guess... I can escort you...back... to the grounds..." Mia nodded slowly, looking nervous. Without Masaru by her side she needed her cloak... She had a spare cloak, but those two were using the one she felt safest in.

"U-Unless you want me...to...w-wake Aoi up... D-Didn't you want to see...things while here?" Maybe...she could show her...if she really wanted... Mia did not voice that offer, too nervous once again.

"M-Mm..." Muika hadn't planned on staying after that long...if she were to be completely honest, she'd looked around some on the way here though "I didn't really plan on staying long after..." ...but...

"B-but...are there any...drawings or something...I can copy...of the basic look of this place? Like...the Soul Society or...this part where shinigami stay? I-I thought it'd be nice to...show Iyuki kinda where I went at least..." Well, that was partly the reason... "I-I can draw so..."

Muika didn't plan on staying long and getting a tour? Mia felt bad but she was a bit relieved, she would have felt obliged to give it in Aoi's place. Her request was met with a small smile, Mia nodding. "I-I have books...and a few maps..."

Looking at the two sleeping in the library, she sighed and moved into the room quietly. There were stacks of books everywhere in addition to the ones on the shelves. Moving past the cuddled up and dead to the world pair, Mia reached up onto a shelf and quietly pulled down a few oversized books. A few scrolls were tucked under her arm in addition to the books.

She then made her way back out of the room, as quietly as she had entered. "I grabbed... a few...so..."

"Th-Thanks, and s-sorry..." Muika replied as Mia set out to gather some of the things she'd mentioned having; she pulled out some pretty big books...and a few scrolls...

Muika moved slightly so she was out of Mia's way as the shinigami carried the books out of the room, "T-Thanks, again..."

Now she just had to find a good one to try to copy...and then copy it...

"Its...not a problem... Welcome..." Mia nodded, giving Muika what she hoped was a reassuring smile as she took the items to the table. Setting them down for her, the woman blinked and glanced at Muika.

"...Do you have drawing supplies then? I-I can't...draw... So I don't...have any..."

"I-I have..." Muika felt through her pockets for a moment, before producing a pencil, it was mechanical...and it had led, she hadn't meant to bring it but well...she was glad she had, this was really a...sudden idea...

Now just...paper...

...Wait...She reached into the pocket of her shorts, the paper she brought out a bit crumpled, as it'd just been an old list of things she'd wanted to pick up at some point, but it would still work...

"This should be good enough..." She said, attempting to flatten out the paper she'd had.

Mia watched as Muika seemed to search for a moment, a small smile forming on her lips as she did so. The girl was rather sweet and adorable... As Muika pulled out a crumpled paper and a mechanical pencil though, she couldn't help letting out a small giggle.

"Nuh uh... S-Sorry... if its forward... But... Hm...how about...you pick a book or scroll to take back...and you can copy it and do a good job... to show him...? A-And have to keep. Th-Then it'll be really nice?"

"H-Huh...?" But...these books were valuable...weren't they, even just one... "Y-You sure...?"

A map of this place...she could just copy it on this...it would turn out a little smooshy due to the crumpling, but still...

"Well...if you really...feel bad... I could take the book back...once you are done copying pictures...? I-If you want to borrow...you could borrow a few..." Mia felt that the human woman might accept this a bit more and gave her another smile. If she wanted pictures and reference items to just borrow, Mia felt fine offering her them to take for a time instead of keeping.

"Mm...I can do that...I just...those books seem valuable, and really...so long as I can get a picture out of them, I'm c-content."

A picture of the area was all she needed, and if those books held any details about what areas were which then she'd copy that info down as well for safekeeping...but a picture was the most important thing...

"Th-They all have different pictures... There's...a lot of different areas..." Mia moved to pick one up, flipping through it as she got to a large drawing of the library, in all its huge and impossible magnificence. "This...is where I work. I-It's the great soul library... but we never...call it that... It goes underground as well..."

"This...one...might be your best bet...then... It is mostly drawings and pictures... It has information on the side... S-So you can pick one.. There's even an almost...aerial one...of the seireitei..." With a grin, she handed over the wide but not over thick book.
