| "Sorry, sorry! Sheesh, now I feel really guilty." Tsuyo's hand moved from her hair to ruffle his own, his eyes and head turning after a few moments with a hint of a shame filled blush. Really, he was embarrassed for how he'd teased her into this and as his eyes darted back he caught her smile.
She had been poking her fingers cutely so she wasn't too upset it seemed... Just pouting...
Even if she didn't take offense, he still felt he was a bit out of line and the hand ruffling his hair moved to rub at the new tattoo over his eye as well. "I said its fine... I guess its fine if its like me or somethin' but I mean..."
How would that help her though?! Tsuyo reached up with his other hand and ruffled his hair in frustration. "Aaah, I'm really really bad at this. I just... sorry. Stop feeling bad 'cause of me. I'm a jerk."

"Head's up." Ikue stated, giving Tsuyoshi what she hoped he'd realize was a warning before she reached forward and flicked him.
He was not a jerk! At least so far everything she'd seen of of him said otherwise! Sometimes things came out of his mouth that he didn't mean, but that didn't make him a jerk! He was trying to offer advice, that wasn't jerk-ish at all!
"Not a jerk!" She stated, voicing her thoughts; "You're trying to help, y-you don't have to feel bad."
Ikue gave him another smile, hopefully one that was at least a bit reassuring. He didn't need to apologize for the things he'd said...

| Tsuyoshi looked up as Ikue spoke, questioningly and wondering what in the hell she meant before his forehead was promptly flicked. "Oi!"
His hand came up to rub the poor spot she had attacked with no reason to, a minor crimson glare and definite disapproving frown on his lips. What was that about!?
Her words solved the mystery immediately though and Tsuyoshi blinked, his face heating up before he turned and stood up fully out of her reach. His hand never left his forehead rubbing the spot as he mumbled a reply. "...Ya didn't have to flick me though."
If his tone held a pout or his lips, the man sure as hell wouldn't admit it as he turned to the side more so he could look far away. Sheesh, she didn't have to smile like that either. It was reassuring, yes but seriously he had overstepped a lot of bounds today... Least of which were hers.
But if he voiced that thought again, he'd be in for more beatings. Tsuyoshi rubbed under his nose and gave a muffled frustrated sound before speaking again. "Come on. Need to take you home... Or got classes?"
His accent was starting to show, a sure sign that he was definitely unguarded. It was barely showing but those who knew them could probably place it as Okinawan or other islands near there.

| He'd been calling himself a jerk to her, to Ikue...that had felt like it deserved some form of light punishment... A flick had seemed perfect! It was about the most damage she could really do, to be honest.
"You were calling yourself a jerk, so that called for punishment!" She answered, voicing her thoughts; at his question, she shook her head, "All of my classes are early ones so nope, home sounds good."
It'd been a full day, lots of revelations and fixes to problems! Home sounded just perfect after a long day like that...
She could dress down, and prepare some tea to relax with. No tests coming up, so she could sit back and relax to her hearts content!
Her smile was back to being a real one, a happy one as Tsuyoshi spoke; he seemed unguarded at the moment, and...hm...did she detect a bit of an accent? Oh well, it was time to head home!

| "I can call myself a jerk if I want! I am one. S'not a lie!" Tsuyo grumbled, hopping back from the bench in an attempt to get out of reach of the now violent young woman. Still she was smiling, so he sighed and turned again to look ahead. "How far is it? If its not far I might part ways with ya here."
He'd feel a little bad but really, being all open and stuff was new for him and it was starting to bother him speaking so much and openly. Tsuyoshi wanted to head back soon and just relax... Relax in his own place and sort out all these new thoughts and revelations. Ugh, it was weird in his own head like this...
He'd said he would escort her home and stuff but... The man rubbed his hair and made a mess of it again, his unguarded state quickly disappearing once more. "Sorry."

| "Mm...Maybe not, but you're not a jerk to me; you haven't been anyway, so to me...you're not a jerk!" Ikue replied, wanting to laugh as Tsuyoshi hopped back as she moved to stand too.
As for her apartment...
"It's just a few blocks up the way from here, I should be just fine! No worries." Hm? "And no sorries, it's alright."
It wasn't that far, it would likely be about...a fifteen minute walk? That wasn't far in her opinion, and she felt she'd be perfectly fine, especially once she put the scarf back on. She'd be completely hidden on her walk back from hollows that may be roaming around.

| "Thanks I guess..." Tsuyoshi flushed a bit and ruffled his hair more and more, he'd need to take his stuff to the bathhouse tonight at this rate cause his hair would get scummy. It would anyways, even in early fall it was still warm enough to annoy him...
Least she didn't think he was too much a jerk. One person out of who knows how many! Well, her home was close enough for him to feel secure leaving her alone. Long as he didn't tease her or something before and set her off into flustered messness, she'd be fine. Tsuyoshi just kept all his snark in. Giving her a lopsided grin, he turned and gave a two finger salute over his shoulder after that. "Have a safe trip home then. Will see you around!"

| "'Kaaay~! You too! See you around!" Ikue called back, waving and smiling as she had been as she began walking off in the direction towards her apartment. After a few steps she turned her attention to the streets in front of her and walked along.
Yup! After everything today it'd definitely be nice to sit back and relax...
