The rather large palace that Dagon chose to live in was a large hub for much of the tourists and diplomats that wished to travel to the other parts of the loosely connected city. It acted as a kind of hotel of sorts with the small inner sanctum dedicated to Dagon's homestead. The outside of which was mostly a hotel. As a result of this, it often attracted an inauspicious amount of vagabonds who preyed on those who were visiting the city.

Normally he gives had a few of the fraccions deal with these problems but there was a small group who was causing quite a stir. Dagon called in help just to have a partner. He doubted he needed it, Dagon was almost unkillable but it was possible to capture him and he didn't want to deal with the potential headache. So instead he stood above the palace on its precipice keeping an eye (or a tentacle) out for trouble and for his support.

Help did arrive, fortunately for Dagon. With the unmistakable sound of a sonido, Xavos arrived right beside his fellow Espada, a hand already on his sword's grip as he immediately began surveying the area. He had already been briefed on the situation, so wasting time explaining things was not necessary. Just the way the Arrancar preferred it.

"Segunda." He stated, nodding towards Dagon in an official sort of way. "I am here to help with your insubordination problem. As head of the Exequias, you have my word that I shall brook no traitors in our ranks. Hopefully it won't have to come to that." He remarked, in his usual no-nonsense manner.

Insubordination often led to outright rebellion. He was prepared for that.

Dagon glanced over and nodded. This mission would be perfectly suited for the Sexta. "For several months now I've gotten reports across my zone of an incursion of bandits, smugglers and other general unwanted individuals. At first I sent a team of numeros in order to weed them out but quickly realized they were far more numerous then I anticipated. In order to deal with this quickly and efficiently I asked for help."

He then paused and glanced at the cityscape. "While I have little doubt I could manage alone, to gaurntee the bare minimum of collateral is sustained, I am in need of your assistance. The building ahead with the neon lights flashing red and blue is a known hideout. I know they are on to me and doubt they are still there but there is the possibility of a clue to where they are now."

Dagon then glances over to another building that seemed almost run down in comparison. "There is also an informant that, with some difficulty, I've been able to obtain. He lives in the building over there. I've been keeping a close eye on it and I have a strange feeling about it but can't tell you why I feel that."

"So, which place should we investigate first?"

Xavos simply peered out towards the target areas Dagon was pointing out. From what he was saying, it sounded like both needed to be checked out regardless, and if the possibility of a clue was still there in the first building, well then their choice was already made.

"The first sounds like the most logical choice, especially since your intuition is telling you something about the second. If we can find something that leads us to their group, then it will make things even easier to snuff them out." He remarked in a matter of fact tone of voice. "Though...perhaps this group wants us to check out their former hideout in the first place. We can't discount the possibility that our positions are already compromised." Still, they had to be checked out, and he was suspicious of both.

"Best to be on our guards at all times. There could very likely be traps set in both, or rather, we should assume there are."

"That seems to be the most prudent choice of action. Lets Go." Dagon leaps off the balcony and slowly falls before speeding off. As he moves Dagon notifies the need for haste as there is no doubt that they are aware of his presence in the city.

Dagon lands right outside the building and peers around it. The building itself seemed to be a kind of gambling establishment, a common distraction in Dagon's area. It was one of the flashier buildings but the night life of the city had barely been an afterthought when it came to building it. You'd be remiss to not see the similarities to the town of Las Vegas although Vegas was not run by a quasi eldritch abomination. At least it probably wasn't.

He turned to the Sexta and said. "There are two entrances, the front door and another that is located in the building on the right that leads into the floor of the casino. Both entrances seem dubious but if they are trying to remain some level of secrecy, the doors will be unguarded. Shall we proceed?"

Without a word, Xavos followed the Segunda down to the ground, keeping pace with him as they moved through the city. He did notice all of the distractions like the neon signs and such, but things like those did not draw his attention away from the task at hand. If there was one thing the Espada was good at, it was being able to maintain an unwavering focus.

"If we are trying to mask our presence, entering through the front door would most likely reveal ourselves to our 'friends'. I suggest we travel through the other entrance. Then again, I am not opposed to attacking outright. Alternatively, we could also split up and enter both ways." He suggested. Dagon knew this place better than he, so the Sexta would defer to his judgment on the matter.

Dagon nods and responds with. "The Entrance will do. I see little point in sneaking around."

Then, as if the universe seemed to be mocking the Segunda, as the two walked through the entrance they were greeted by the familiar sound of balas being fired in their direction. Dagon took note that six arrancars on the opposite side of the building didn't seem to care one bit about things like subtlety. Some of them exploded into the machines on the floor and even one hit a bystander. Dagon cursed at this and immediately Sonidod around the right side of the room in an arc hoping to draw the fire away from the people occupying the center.

Instinctively, Xavos drew his sword as he used sonido to dodge the balas the same as Dagon had, only moving towards the left side and getting behind cover. The explosions of the energy shots didn't phase the Espada, and once they had hit, the Sexta emerged from the cover he had found and followed up with a flurry of balas from his free hand as the Segunda attempted to draw their fire. He debated firing a cero, but minimizing the damage took precedence.

If it worked, the six renegade Arrancar would definitely be forced to react defensively, giving the two Espada a good opening to attack properly.

The balas did their job effectively and the rouge arrancar took cover not noticing Dagon had moved as fast as he did. His hand reached out from his coat and transformed into three tentacles that immediately found their target and buried themselves in the chest, neck and head of their dull witted opponents. The other three now noticing their dead commrades turned to face Dagon. One screamed and immediatly shunpo'd into the middle of the floor and headed for the door. Another took off into the back room while the last one stood his ground and immediately fired a cero at the Segunda.

Dagon ripped his hand free of the others and used it to wrap around the cero. His arm exploded into pieces sending the tentacles around the room but at least the rest of the room remained relatively undamaged. He winced in pain but knew his body would regenerate quickly enough.

Unfortunately for the one rogue who had moved to the middle and tried to get out, he would be met with the sharp blade of the Sexta Espada. With a roar, Xavos swung his blade straight through the Arrancar's midsection, bisecting him. Blood started to spurt all around, but that could be cleaned up. Damage to the machines was much more of a hassle.

Now there were two left, and one was busy trying to kill the Segunda. With a sonido, Xavos would appear right above the ballsy cero firing arrancar, his sword already in mid swing as he came down upon him from the air, ready to cleave him in half.

Dagon had no need to react further as Xavos's blade cleaved the arrancar in twine. "We need to take the other one alive."

Dagon then Sonido'd quickly to the back door and blew it apart as he slammed through it causing the ruffian to screech to a halt and return back in the direction he just came. Dagon hopped that he Xavos would close the trap and he could bring this showdown to a quick conclusion.

Quickly sheathing his katana back into its scabbard, Xavos followed Dagon's lead as he used sonido to follow, only covering the front this time.

Unfortunately for the rogue ruffian, when he attempted to flee from the Segunda, he was met by the muscled arms of the Sexta, who immediately grabbed him mid-sonido and slammed his enemy through a nearby wall. Easily pinning the weaker Arrancar to the ground, the Espada gave him a clean haymaker with his free hand. He would co-operate, or he would suffer worse. The Sexta communicated that physically.

"You're going to talk." He coldly said to the stunned runaway. He didn't put enough power in his punch to knock the guy out, but he would certainly be woozy.

"This is not a good location for interrogation." Dagon communicated. "Besides... There are a few handy tools back in my citadel we can make use of."

The arrancar looked terrified from one Espada to another before he drew his sword and made to stab himself but the quick tentacles of the Segunda bound him to the floor and knocked him out. "He'll be out for at least an hour so let's finish this up."

Dagon walked through the destroyed door and knocked down another wall that led to a computer room. "Just like my sources said. There are 6 computers but only 3 of them are correct. Pick the right one and we succeed. Don't and well..."

Dagon makes a strange noise that can only be loosely defined as an explosion. "Feeling lucky?"
