The shinigami who had come to care for a silly human made it up to his house's door, a bit nervous. Wearing the backless dress that tied around her neck, showing off her rather average chest a lot more than usual, Aoi wrung her hands a bit on the doorstep. She wanted to ring the bell and see Rin Aoyama, but she was rather nervous. The first time she'd ever worn something... so showy and after two weeks of rather not needed separation...

If she had truly did it, she could have somehow found time to visit him. Had she not wanted to? But... Socializing in the squad was good too. She had done so much, met so many people... Got to know others better, such as her Captain and her former captain.

The ball had went well and she had saved that Shinigami-Human's soul.

Maybe she just felt guilty for not finding the killer yet and punished herself by staying away from Rin for the whole time. What if he was angry? What if he was upset? Would he still...want to see her?

That was why she put on the dress, and that annoying garter belt contraption with those shoes. It felt fine now, but had taken some time. Refusing to do anything with her curly head of hair, she had left it hanging down past her shoulders slightly.

Well, clothes could be armor too. Taking a big gulp she knocked on the door. There was no reply. She rang the bell, no reply either. The car was gone, so...maybe no one was home? That would be just her luck, she stops in and they both are GONE. The one day she just kept over thinking too...

Sighing, she tried the handle to find it was unlocked. This... was odd. They had a nice house, they should have kept it locked when leaving. Nevermind that she always just hopped the gate, Aoi walked into the entryway and slipped off her shoes.

The soft silky stockings made barely a sound on the floor as she walked through the downstairs. "Rin? Ruka? Hello? Its Aoi! The door was open. Are you okay?"

If there were any human intruders, she could deal with them, so Aoi wasn't scared of that so much as of intruding on someone's house without permission.

He heard the ringing doorbell, and if he'd been able too his reaction to suddenly hearing Aoi's voice would have been his head shooting up in surprise. However, the fullbringer's ability to move was currently incapacitated.

For the past two weeks he'd been training, training his body, his stamina, his ability...all that practice certainly left him with results, but the results had...backfired on this one occasion. During his practice, he had run into a hollow or two, and in this time where his strength was growing...his abilities evolving, he'd discovered his power had an ability. It wasn't just a whip, there was power to it.

He'd learned he could temporarily cause paralysis in his opponent, as long as he'd put enough energy behind his strikes he could stun them. When the first hollow had fallen to the ground that day, unable to move, he could only stand there surprised while it growled and snarled furiously up at him.

Now though, he'd found himself in quite the predicament. Earlier, he'd attempted to summon his weapon and had accidentally struck himself like a fool. Now he was stuck, lying face down and unable to stand in his room wallowing in his own stupidity until it wore off.

Not knowing of the predicament of the man upstairs, Aoi started checking every room downstairs. Kitchen, dining room... Nothing. A glance outside showed nothing either, and Aoi was starting to get worried. Had something happened? There was no sign of a struggle, but that wasn't a sign of anything. They could have been professionally kidnapped.

Reigning in her worry, the young looking woman moved upstairs carefully. "Ruuka? Riiin? Are you here? I'm sorry, but I'm in the house."

Still, despite how much her worry was being controlled, she couldn't help heading directly to the door that led to Rin's bedroom. It was closed, but then it normally was. Taking a deep steadying breath, she opened the door quickly and stepped inside. She looked around quickly, her glance taking in the whole situation... and she moved to the floor beside the fallen body of her lover.

"Rin!? Rin are you okay!?" Aoi quickly flipped his body over, not touching his whip for now as she checked his body quickly before realizing he was...fine? "Rin whats wrong why are you laying like this? Why are you dead weight?!"

Pulling his head onto her lap, her blue eyes shone with worry as she stared down at him, not sure what to do.

It didn't take too long before Aoi found him in his pathetic state, flipping him over to reveal his slightly tinted face, only tinted due to the embarrassment of being found like this.

"I can't move." He admitted, a bit of reluctance in his tone as he told her this.

He was able to talk at least, which at least helped the situation.

"It's an ability...from my powers." He explained, "if I strike with enough power I can temporarily stun from my understand...and as you can see I've hit myself. Accidentally."

He was happy to see her, he truly was, he just wished their reunion could have been under better, less embarrassing circumstances. He hadn't really had a chance to notice her dress, only being able to look up at the moment until the paralysis wore off. "You look nice." He complimented, judging by what he could see.

"You...You can't move." Aoi's face was one of utter disbelief as she stared down at Rin, her hair falling in a red wave around her face. He... had used a power on himself and somehow paralyzed himself. She had to cover her face with her hand to hide the smile that was threatening to burst out, along with the laughter. "At-Atleast you can speak. This is an interesting power."

Oh no she couldn't hold it in, but she couldn't leave him on the floor. He was complimenting her looks... was he trying to change the subject?! Still, she had to do something quickly before... "Excuse me Rin, please bear with me."

Shifting his head, she stood up and moved to stand next to him, probably giving him a nice shot up her dress but she was too busy trying to not laugh. Bending down slightly, she slid her arms under him, picking him up with a small bit of effort. Dead weight was much different than weight someone could help with and well... She had to be careful not to hurt him.

Carrying him over to the bed, she set him on it carefully, so he could be comfortable while it wore off. Then with a giggle escaping her mouth, she sat on the bed next to him. She tried, Aoi really truly tried, but as she stared at the silly fullbringer, she burst into laughter. It shook her body and she fell over, laughing on the bed hard enough to have tears streaming down her face.

As she rolled, she slipped off the end of the bed with an eep and a thud, before the laughter continued, stronger for her own slip up. "S-S-Sorr-rry!"

Why this?

Why couldn't he just crawl off somewhere and wallow in his idiocy in private?

He had no choice but to watch as Aoi held back her laughter while she moved, causing him to avert his eyes at least with a redder face as she stood up. After a moment she picked him up, making him just want to crawl away all the more but he couldn't, there was no escape from this pit of embarrassment.

Once he was on the bed Aoi couldn't hold it back anymore and began laughing, he really hoped it would wear off soon...it usually did. He hadn't waited to figure out the timing on the first hollow he'd successfully stunned, wanting to just be rid of it...but the second he'd waited, and it'd taken ten minutes for the hollow but he doubted that it would hold something more powerful for that long.

So far, he'd counted to seven minutes. So he had three more minutes of hell to endure before he could move again, that is, under the presumption it was under the ten minute limit like hollows were.

It took Aoi at least half a minute before she could stand up, and another moment before she could turn around and face Rin with the appropriately solemn face... Which quickly broke into a grin and small giggles as she wiped the tears from her face. His eyes said 'kill me now', and she felt slightly bad. She needed to take his mind off of this horribly hilarious situation.

Crawling onto the bed, Aoi sat near his head and crossed her legs as she reached out one hand to play with his hair. Teasing it gently, she smiled as she looked down at Rin. "I'm sorry I laughed, you have to admit this is amazingly silly, shiro-usa."

"How long do you think you'll be stuck like this? How did you get this power?" If they talked to pass the time, maybe he'd feel less embarrassed. Though... maybe she wanted him embarrassed. A small smirk on her face, she leaned down a bit so he could see her face perfectly clear. "Mmm...but with you like this I could do whatever I wanted... it has been a rather lonely two weeks."

It couldn't hurt to tease him, could it?

"It's amazing how stupid I was to even get myself into this situation."

Aoi sat herself near his head where he could properly see her, even if she'd gotten most of the laughter out she was still finding this incredibly amusing.

"It's...fine." He replied, before letting out a breath as he lay there. "I discovered it a few days ago after a run in with a hollow. The past two weeks I've been training my stamina and abilities, and this ability is the result of that. I didn't wait to see how long it took to wear off with the first hollow, but another one came around not long after and with some planning I was able to strike it and test it out. Ten minutes is the limit for hollows, I don't know if that limit covers other factions though; or whether or not depending on the power of the victim could perhaps lessen the time limit."

His face reddened as Aoi leaned down, saying that with him stuck like this she could do what she wanted. "A...Are you sure about doing...that? With me like this, I can't even properly respond." He stuttered out.

"I wouldn't say stupid, but reckless definitely."

Aoi tugged on the white hairs that formed Rin's 'ears', smiling down at him. It was a soft, happy smile, and not a teasing one as she listened. It quickly turned into a worried frown, and she slide down the bed so she could move her face just above his. Her red hair creating a curtain around them, she spoke gently and yet chidingly. "You could have been hurt badly or killed Rin! If I came back and found you gone... I should have come back before this then. You can practice things out on me, not the hollows."

"You've been...working so hard though. Its rather nice to hear."

His red face made her smile, and she glanced down at his prone body a bit suggestively. "Mm, but think of how much easier it'd be on you. You wouldn't have to touch me and get flustered, or feel like you have to respond when you can't."

This was too easy! She was having too much fun teasing him. She'd have to tell him in a minute she wasn't serious. Would it have worn off by then though?

"I can handle a few hollows, they weren't that strong in in the first place." Rin replied, giving Aoi what he hoped was a reassuring smile. "They weren't that big a deal, if they had been I would have run. No need to worry."

"True, I wouldn't need to worry about that...but," Rin started, the red in his face still burning bright as he spoke, "I think it's a fair thing to not forget I might want to respond."

"I am gonna worry!" Pouty face was back and Aoi grumbled a bit. "I worry about you lots, I spent most of my time in the Seireitei worry about you... Rightfully it seems!"

Now it was Aoi's turn to turn red, and luckily for her she could move out of sight. Sitting up with her back facing Rin, she covered her face and tried to speak. "W-Well...I just... assumed you...well I wouldn't! Touch you with you like this...unless you wanted me to, it wouldn't right... and um I just...was teasing..."

She hadn't...really thought past her words, not realizing he could probably get her back a bit with that. Aoi still was a bit in shock that he wanted to touch her. She wasn't sure she wanted this to wear off anytime soon, if only since it allowed her to hide from him.

"I see, sorry I worried you then." Rin was starting to regain feeling again in his body, but he wasn't showing any sign he was as he watched Aoi turn and become flustered at his remark.

"So you were just teasing?" He questioned, his smile turning into a small smirk.

Really, it was miraculous he even had the capacity to have any confidence considering his recent predicament she'd found him in. It was there though, now that he felt himself regaining his ability to move.

"...Just don't do reckless things." Aoi kept her face in her hands, shaking her head at the silly man slightly behind her. He would get himself killed... She worried way too much over him, he was a grown adult who could take care of their self. He had powers... and would make it through battles.


"Y-Yes! I was just... I wouldn't do that to you, you know. You said you wouldn't want that so I wouldn't. I just... wanted to make you blush more." Aoi buried her face lower into her hands, almost bent over in half. She would hide her embarrassed face like this.

She was still hiding, and if he kept this up she'd probably keep doing so; not that he wasn't still red in the face himself, mostly due to him diminishing embarrassment but also because of his planned next move.

As Aoi stayed buried in her hands Rin made a quick move, now able to move freely again, by sitting up wrapping his arms around Aoi's waist from behind. She'd likely felt the shift on the bed but that didn't matter. He brought his head down to rest his chin on her shoulder, despite in her half bent state.

"Well, I'm blushing." He commented, that small smirk from before still remaining.

Slowly but surely she could maybe stop blushing. Maybe, just maybe Aoi could go back to teasing Rin. She had time before it wore off and if he was too flustered to speak he couldn't... A small shift in the bed was the only warning she had. A small sound escaped her lips, half surprised and half moan as Rin's arms wrapped around her.

"Y-Yay..." Was all she could get, with his chin on her shoulder and his arms holding her. She straightened a bit, leaning back against Rin unconsciously.

Chuckling slightly, Rin adjusted himself a bit as Aoi leaned back against him; making the position a bit more comfortable for them both. As Aoi became more flustered, he took the chance to plant a small kiss on her before nuzzling the area.

"Missed you." He said softly, though he knew he probably just making her more flustered...which was perfectly fine, that was his plan anyway.

A small gasp broke from her mouth, she had not been expecting a kiss or nuzzles like that... It felt really nice, and the shinigami relaxed into Rin's hold even while her face and neck turned red.

"I missed you too..." Aoi was flustered, but not enough to not respond to Rin properly. She really had missed him and it seems he had missed her enough to... become rather confident with his actions. Still, she made a few small sounds as he kept a hold of her, wanting to bury her face somewhere else.

"How have you been?" He asked, his tone still soft but deep down he was worried, considering the events before she'd left two weeks ago. Still, he kept that worry completely hidden from surfacing on his expression or showing in his voice; plus, he really was interested in how she'd been doing in the Soul Society with her work.

Aoi took a deep breath, trying to stop being so flustered. Why was Rin making her like this? Had it been because of their separation? She...rather liked their positions though. The redhead wasn't going to move for now at all.

Reaching a hand up, she played with some of his hair as she spoke. "Things went as well as can be expected. Apparently there's two separate hollow groups. The humanoid Arrancars, and another group that are just pure hollows. Arrancar are similar to shinigami, they have swords and can seal their powers in them. Their the ones I warned you about, their masks are broken and they can assume more humanoid forms. They are the ones I warned you about, they... honestly are on par with the shinigami. I had no idea before, but they are advanced enough to...come to the human world like we do in physical bodies. Oh! But...we have nonaggression pacts for now. No outright wars, yay."

"Captain Masaru... he knows about us. He promised to protect you if something happened, and was entirely fine with it! Apparently I only have to worry about the problems I'd face such as age, not any sort of rule against human interaction." Aoi's voice was relieved as she spoke, smiling. "I brought the books Hideki made, copies of information about fullbringers. They are nearby, safely stowed. I actually baked a cake with Masaru! It didn't disappear like my other attempts, and he even let me decorate it. We are good friends now, I think."

Tilting her head away from Rin's, she tried to think about everything else that had happened. She...didn't want to burden him with Nentsu's story but... Her voice fell a bit as she spoke. "Well... I found the man who died in front of you. But not his killer yet. His soul needed healing... and I became his friend before he passed on."

"H-How about you Rin? What did you do other than try to get yourself killed?"

A nonaggression pact, that was good, so long as neither side screwed it up. If someone did though, nothing good could come out of it...

"I see, it's good you became better acquainted. It should make work easier and I'm glad that he was willing to do that, stick himself out for me that is, despite not having met me." She seemed to have been doing well, which he another thing to be happy about. "Books? I assume there was more to learn, if there's books that is."

Even if it wasn't much information, any amount was helpful, if he could learn more he could take that information and work it into strengthening himself when it came to his training.

He raised a brow at the mentioning of Nentsu. So she'd run into his spirit? His killer was on the loose still, the man he'd spoken to, but Nentsu's soul was at least at peace now.

"Just give it more time, it's hard to track down a person like him." Rin reassured, his voice soft. "As for me, other than training myself nothing much. Ruka dragged me to the painting studio a few times when I was free. It was fun, I guess."

"I think... Masa's a sucker for stuff like that. He seems romantic at heart, he seemed to think I loved you though. I think its rather too early to tell that yet, silly Captain." Aoi spoke in a conspiratorial voice, moving around bit move. She liked having Rin against her like this, but it wasn't the comfiest. It also made it hard to see his face, so she could... well look. She wiggled a bit in his hold, trying to gently escape. "They might have information I can't understand in there, so... I was hoping if you read them yourself they might help you more."

She seemed rather embarrassed by that, flushing again.

"I will... I have to stop him, in case he kills again. I don't want him slaying shinigami when I could stop him." Still upset about that, her body shook lightly. What if he went after her weak point? The person had no idea about her now, but if he found out... He'd go after Rin and Ruka, if he was anything like what Nen had said.

She perked up at the mention of his twin, smiling. "Oh? Did you paint? Did you go out and do more drawings and come up with book ideas? Can I see?"

"I see." Rin chuckled, it seemed her captain was a bit of a romanticist.

He let Aoi move as she wanted, loosing his hold enough for her to move into a more comfortable position or whatever she wanted, easy enough to break out now if she wanted to escape. "Well when I read them hopefully I'll be able to. They'll definitely be of help, thank you for bringing them."

She had good reason to be worried about this killer, as he had the strength to take down a shinigami.

"If or when you do encounter him, be careful." He knew he was repeating himself there, but if she did run into him he wanted her to be as careful as she could; it was her job and she was strong but that didn't stop him from worrying.

"I did mostly scenery paintings and sketches, like some parts of the city, and things like that." He explained, "they're in my sketchbook."

It sat off to the side on the bedside table where it usually sat; not having been touched in the past few days due to him spending his time training.

As Rin loosed, his hold, Aoi gently pulled away just long enough to turn around so she could face him. With a small happy giggle, she moved forward and pulled him against her, using her momentum to pull his body onto of her as she laid back. Planting a kiss on his cheek, she slid her hands up into the hair she seemed to love so much. "Much better. I promise I'll very careful, I have you to come back to so I can't mess up and get killed."

"Can I see later?" Glancing at the sketchbook too far away to reach, she didn't for a second entertain the notion of moving so she could look. Rin's pictures were lovely, but... he was moreso. Today would be well spent even if it was just laying on his bed under him. Especially since Masaru had given her the entire day and night off.

Apparently she had moped a bit too much and everyone had caught wind of it. Oops.

"You said I looked nice earlier, but you could barely see my clothing. Was that just to distract me from your mess up... Or did you really think that? I remember you really liked this dress at the store... and someone told me the stockings would go with it." The light blue dress and white stockings all complimented each other nicely, even Aoi could tell that. Though she did wish for more leather or even a black color to throw in.

His face reddened at the change in position, but he couldn't say it was entirely unexpected. After planting a kiss on his cheek she began playing with his hair again, it was a feeling he'd missed if he were being honest with himself. After becoming used to it only for it to stop for two weeks straight, it was relaxing.

"Of course, we can look through it later." Rin replied, giving a nod; it wasn't like the sketchbook was going anywhere, they could look through it at any time.

"Ah, well I couldn't really see the...the whole outfit at the time b-but I did mean it." Despite being a bit embarrassed to answer, he thankfully only ended up stuttering a little. "You do look nice."

"I'm not going to find more silly pictures in there?" It would take a better person that Aoi to resist teasing him about the last time they looked through it. Rin seemed more relaxed and happy, she wasn't going to tease him a lot. He seemed rather flustered again, though before he was flustering her

'I did good!' Aoi gave an internal jump and happy yell, while outside she just smiled and closed her eyes. "Thank you..."

If they stayed here too long, they might end up doing something Rin would be flustered over... She was already holding back the strong urge to kiss him lots, but Aoi wasn't sure she wanted to get off of the bed yet. Deciding on something, she giggled. "Sp... you should show me your new powers~ I'll be your guinea pig."
