PostSubject: Can I really wear that?   Mon Sep 09, 2013 10:17 pm

Elly had killed some time after the meeting, trying to figure out in advance what she was in for. Saraiyu was right... She wasn't the... classiest dresser. Her usual outfit was either concealing, or tailor made for combat. Either way, she never gave much thought to appearance in a way appropriate for a dance. Hell, the last time she had even dressed up was.... Well... When she was alive in high school. She sighed. Hopefully this wouldn't be a big fat repeat of THAT disaster... Who knew ghosts had to deal with dances?

Either way, she at least had a friend who knew more about fashion then she did this time... or at least a Queen-Ruler... person... overlord? Was she like an overlord? She was very controlling. Hrm... She'd have to figure this out at some point...

Elly became lost in thought on the matter, and soon was wandering aimlessly down the Corona's hall, a garment bag slung over her shoulder containing her very simple dress that she figured she might as well bring along in case Saraiyu liked it.

"Elly, I can tell you right now that dress won't be good enough." Saraiyu walked up behind the Quatra and poked her in the head. Normally a full head above most other females, Sarai was only about 6 inches taller than the girl. She had taken her in as a hollow, used the very painful and rarely worked process to make her an Arrancar and hadn't regretted it.

The girl still needed a lot of work though... She had been young when she died, and young especially by hollow standards. Saraiyu had to help her out a lot when it came to not fighting, though it was worth it having someone as closely tied to human world as Elly was. The Corona had learned much from their excursions.

"Its a ball, not a prom dress. You'll need something simple but cute and elegant. You're tall enough... Come." Walking past Elly, Sarai headed off in large strides to one of her rooms.

She nearly gave an audible 'bwuh?' when she was poked in the head. She turned quickly to spot the Corona walking up to her. She took a step backwards out of her way and gave a quick little bow. "Miss Corona... Your.... lordship..ness..... ma'am." She cleared her throat before standing up and following. "H..How do you know it isn't good enough?" It was in a bag after all. She looked at the thing for a moment with a slight groan before sighing. She was right. It was a lousy dress. She dropped it over her shoulder, pretty sure one of the arrancar scurrying around would pick it up for her.

Elly was always thankful that the Corona, ruler of the espada made time to be friendly with her, even if it was primarily for Saraiyu's own benefit. Even if the circumstances were odd, it was nice to have SOMETHING reminiscent of her old life around here. "Er.. I don't know what... Uh.. Wait, tall enough for what?" She picked up her pace, legitimately curious what on earth Saraiyu was talking about.

"That it could fit in the bag tells me all I needed to know. I bet its even crumpled. You really need to take better care of things like that." As the Corona spoke, a wall was gifted with an opening that a minor arrancar walked out. They grabbed the bag, bowed and went back inside.

Sarai of course paid no mind to that. "When its a situation like this is should be fine to call me Saraiyu, Elly. Don't list off all of my titles like that. Tall enough to wear the dresses of course."

Turning down a corridor, it quickly opened up into a huge room. Splashes sounded and rainbows formed in the light steam. The room itself was slightly cool, but there was a large heated bath steaming up parts of it to the right. On the the far side from them sat a few doors, and Sarai kept up the quick pace to reach the one. She opened it into a lavish room that had a rather large bed, more than a few couches and lounges, and a lot of closets. One of them was open and held a few brightly colored dresses.

"Now Elly, you will be uncomfortable in these I think. Not physically, but mentally. However they are fashionable and would accentuate your features well." With that short yet probably not comforting speech, the corona pulled out one long floofy number. It was a dark blue and purple, with a ruffled bottom. The part that went over her torso was lacking even from a quick glance. "I would be unhappy if you didn't pick one by the time we are done. This one first. I must see if I got your measurements right."

She perked her head up, looking back when she thought she heard something. Huh. Guess it was nothing. She turned her attention forward and followed Sarai into her... well, palace wasn't an off base description. She looked up to see how high the ceiling went before trying to take in everything. She whistled slowly as she did a slow spin. "Did you redecorate recently?" She asked, walking backwards and almost tripping into a bath before catching herself and stumbling after Sarai, eyes forward this time.

Once she was in the bedroom, the array of dresses caused her stomach to lurch a little. Oh dear. They were so pretty. She was sure she was going to manage to make them look- Now where on EARTH was the rest of this dress. She walked over and gently took the dress, turning to a mirror and holding it up to see how it might look on her. Unfortunately, there was just no way to tell...And she didn't want to make the Corona unhappy... She cleared her throat. "Right.. I'll just uh... Do I.. change somewhere..?" She looked around, a little out of sorts.

"This is just a newer section. I've been trying to clean this place up a bit. Sofie gets grumpy when there is too much work being done though, so I tend to keep it low key." Saraiyu waved off the question. Her whole tower was a mess of labyrinthine proportions. If Elly was seeing a new way every time, well it wouldn't be the last time she did. It was lucky she had been given an unspoken pass, otherwise she might have gotten bothered a bit by the more... dangerous thralls.

Looking as Elly held up the dress, Sarai hmed to herself as she circled the girl. She was eying her like a shark... The colors were a bit too deep and mature on her. Though it would draw the eyes to her chest, which Saraiyu knew was hidden there. She needed something that worked for the girl but also belayed her talents. No reason to give away what kind of killer Elly could be. It would be like armor, protecting her through ignorance.

"Behind there." After an uncomfortably long circling period Sarai finally spoke up and pointed. The wall opened up slightly and two arrancar ran out and grabbed one of the large screens Sarai had laying around the room.

She stood dutifully as she was circled for a moment. Just holding the dress. It would look pretty, right? Or not. I mean, it shouldn't require actually trying on at all... right? She finally looked up at Saraiyu, seeing the way her eyes were scouring over her. She resisted a self conscious grumble. Why was she still...? She wiggled a little, shifting from one foot to the other, clinging the dress ever so subtly closer to herself. How long was this going to...

Finally, the shark swam away, so to speak. Thank... goodness... what WAS that? Her face turned a little redder. Jeez... She looked over at the thralls holding the screen up. Okay... Well... that was better then nothing. "Yes ma'am." She walked behind the screen and slipped her robe off, setting it on the floor. She looked at the dress. Could she just... wear the dress over her uniform? She decided to go ahead and try. It didn't take long to realize this wasn't working. She sighed before quickly stripping off her uniform. She began squeezing herself into the dress. Although it took more squeezing in some places then others. She looked down and blushed immediately at just how much of herself she could see. "Oh god..." She couldn't go to the ball like this... She couldn't leave this SCREEN like this... But.. did she want Saraiyu to come behind her?

She slowly stepped out from behind the screen and walked back over to the Corona, her arms tightly crossed to cover her chest as best as possible. What embarrassed her the most was quite possibly how much of the damn thing she managed to fill... "H..How does it look?"

Saraiyu's frank appraisal stare came with a slight frown as she moved forward, and waved Elly's arms away from her body. She had been so sure... Oh well. Pulling slightly on the edge of the bodice (what little was there) she tried to move the dress with how it would actually lay and not how Elly wanted it. The girl had managed to somehow get it on while still not wearing it right...

"That would be a good distraction. Not enough though, those colors are garish with your complexion. You want to look good, not like a prostitute. I suppose we should try the next... First lift your arms up and do a slightly spin. The next one should be much easier to get on, but I don't know how you managed to not get this one on right. I might have to take away the screen and help you." She chastised the young woman with a smirk. Her threat might get her moving faster this time and not cover herself. The fraccion was such a meek thing when she wasn't taking care of problems for Saraiyu, too nice by far.

Elly frowned as she was gestured to move her arms. Ugh. She didn't want to, but it would be better then Saraiyu doing it herself. She moved her arms, immediately afraid something would spill out. But she had done a solid job trying to pull the dress up into something sane. She pursed her lips as Saraiyu began... scanning, she supposed was the word? It also occurred to her that Saraiyu was on a relatively short list of people who had seen this much of her. A list she didn't want to extend to the entire ballroom. The thought distracted her so badly, she didn't notice until after the fact that Saraiyu was tugging down her bodice. "AH!" She reflexively moved to pull it back up before stopping. She looked in the mirror. "Jesus Christ. A good distraction? If I tried to fight in this thing, I don't think it would HOLD..." She frowned, before looking over her shoulder at the Corona and nodding, lifting her arms and doing a little spin on one foot. "Ta-da?"

She frowned, glancing at the mirror again. Saraiyu's critiques were actually fairly spot on... And in addition, she wasn't crazy about... well... the absolute cleavage. Her face turned bright red and she had to look away from the thing. She also frowned a little at the sound of taking away the screen. On the one hand... the dress had been fairly hard to put on.... But... getting help would add Saraiyu to a much SHORTER list of people who had seen her naked. She laughed nervously. "Um.. I... I'm pretty sure I can get the next one on myself, Miss Corona... Saraiyu... Corona..? Uhh.." She blanked, her smile becoming more nervous. "So where's the next dress?"

"It would hold with some tape. But that's tacky... I can't believe we underestimated your chest size for this one." Saraiyu's frown turned petulant as she thought about her mistake. She had a good eye for clothes, why had it failed her now? Her hand waving brought the screen back into place and she pulled the second dress off of its hanger. It was a Qipao, or Cheongsam. A long, chinese style dress that was form fitting and showed off quite a bit of leg. This one even had a peephole for cleavage...

Of course she would use Elly's assets like this, even though the girl was rather loyal, as her Master had a bit of a mean streak when it came to certain things. Clothing was one and it was a bit of a way to hide how worried the Corona was about this whole shenanigan riddled idea of a Ball. "Put it on, the other dress you can just toss to the side when you are done. Like I said previously, this will be much easier to put on."

The dress was tossed to the girl and Sarai's on eyebrow raised in an expression of 'Well? Hurry."

She pursed her lips, trying to remain stoic, even as her cheek color betrayed her. "Well... If it makes you feel better, Corona, I wasn't exactly un-surprised..." She looked again at it, almost feeling like it was someone else in the mirror, before she shook her head and turned away. "I kind of... go out of my way to downplay that... whole deal." She said with a silly gesture as Saraiyu tossed her a dress that seemed like it had entirely too little fabric. She frowned at it before walking back to the screen. "I mean... it's not like I DISLIKE that.. I mean... the... very VERY small number of people I've been... I dunno... intimate with, I appreciated their um... affection." She finished removing the first dress, carefully laying it over the screen, not wanting to dirty it, even if Saraiyu said it was okay.

"Just... that's not how I think. I think of myself as an Arrancar, something stronger...a monster." Unlike how most people who retained any memory of their human life might have said it, there was no negativity to Elly's voice when she said the word, "And when I think about someone... oggling me... I don't know... suddenly I'm just a... teenager again." She was glad for the screen as she put on the dress. She was blushing far more at what she was saying then any amount of physical exposure. But it was important that the Corona understand her. She didn't want her to think Elly weak.

She finished putting the dress on and thought for a moment there might have been a mistake.. It left so... VERY little to the imagination that she thought it might be too small for her... but as she tried to move, she felt it cling in a way she just knew it was supposed to. So, arms crossed again, she walked out from the screen. "There's um... a bit of a draft... I think maybe a dress this short is supposed to have some further coverage underneath..." She shifted uncomfortably. She was not used to her legs being uncovered at all, and found each movement made them feel even more awkward. Hopefully Sarai would be pleased with the fit though.

"You do and that's fine normally. We normally don't have to deal with threats as large as this one, however I need you at your best and with all the weapons you have. Your breasts is one way in which they might underestimate you." Saraiyu waved vaguely down the ample front of herself. She was a tall woman, built like a dancer and definitely fit in her showy uniform. "While arrancar and hollows desire power above all else, there are a few who do underestimate based on looks alone. Some even underestimate more based on forms like ours. Those ones die rather quickly among us, but among the Shinigami this is not so. They aren't monsters, they don't have our mentality or strengths. We can use this to our advantage."

Sarai kept speaking as Elly headed behind the screen, cracking a genuine smile when she saw the one dress hang over the edge of it. The girl was too kind. In her usual blunt way she continued. "It takes a different strength to be able to this Young One, not a lesser one either. Don't fear, I really do not want to make you feel so awkward you can't do anything. However I want to be as safe as I can make you. This is to see what dresses can both suit you and also be your armor."

The Corona didn't mind as the girl took a bit longer than she expected. It gave her time to speak. When Elly came out, Sarai moved forward a bit and did her circling routine again. The legs were perfect, Elly had such nice ones for the dress. However she was obviously uncomfortable once again. It really DID leave nothing to the imagination. She was too uncomfortable to pull it off and Sarai chuckled. "The color is nice, but I don't think you could wear it with any degree of realism. Take this one and change."

Sarai held out the next one, a blue cutesy looking one.

She looked in the mirror again. Any degree of realism? Come on... She could... pull it off. She gave a grim little determined look and took a deep breath. "Realism? It looks..." She turned. Okay well... ugh. "Okay, fair enough. It's just... not very me... And I think if someone actually DID give me even half a look in it, I'd melt." Her face got a little red at the thought, as she headed back behind the screen. She sighed as she began working the Cheongsam off. "I think... That's the thing. It's supposed to be an armor, but... What makes me awkward isn't just people seeing it... It's... I don't know..." She grunted as she managed to squeeze out of it, laying it over the screen before pulling the blue dress over.

"I mean... I don't know. I don't look that good in these..." She frowned, realizing she was probably being overly modest. "But...If some Shinigami is distracted, it serves as armor, unless... Y'know... They distract me back...? I think that's what makes me nervous. I mean..." She groaned as she continued trying to fit into the blue dress. She really WASN'T sure this one was fit for her. "Like I said, as an Arrancar, I'm an Arrancar. But, as Elly Watson? I don't know... " She groaned, knowing Saraiyu well enough by now to know that this wasn't necessarily a way she could relate. "That's what makes me feel awkward. What if someone's looking and I WANT them to like what they see? That's what makes me nervous..." She finally squeezed into the blue dress, before walking out. "Ugh, I'm just talking in circles. I'm just saying, if you sent me out in the Cheongsam, you're just as likely to get me taken to some back room by some charming captain as to lower their guard." She frowned, fighting off a blush as she thought about the idea.

Saraiyu waited until Elly was done talking. She recognized when someone was spilling important things about them self and generally they either arrived at a point or found they hadn't one in the first place by the time they reached the end. Either way interrupting just ruined what information or ideas would be had. The corona took off her vest robe in any case and tossed it a lounge or chair nearby. She knew one was there but hadn't really been paying attention to what it was at the moment.

As she pulled the pins out of her teal hair, letting it all fall out of today's elaborate hair style she thought carefully before speaking. "I don't think that would be a problem, per say. I have every trust in your ability to carry yourself and not give away anything important. At the same time, I also trust in your choices. If you wish to get carried away and enjoy yourself with a charming Captain, I will not stop you."

She pursed her lips and she thought about the rest. "It may not be a great idea to do so, but you are under my protection. All I would ask is you don't get too attached or you wait until it is safe to let loose. I believe you are strong enough to hold off such urgings or courtiers until the right time. If it looks like peace for a while, or at least an uneasy truce is acceptable then feel free to, if that IS what you want."

The blue dress fit so nicely Sarai gave a smirk and clapped her hands after she finished. "Oh YES. I like this one. Those frills are girly but not too young, they accentuate your youthful modesty and at the same time show off your lovely female assets. I'm not sure another can top this one. Do a quick spin!"

She couldn't help but smile a little as she came out. "Sarai," she said, unable to stop herself from referring to the Corona casually. "You always look so pretty when you get all casual!" She said with a glance in the mirror at herself. She nodded and did a little spin as told, adding in a bit of a curtsy at the end, before walking over to the mirror and examining at length. "I don't exactly know if 'lovely' is the term I would use.." She said with a slightly sardonic chuckle. She almost said that they didn't exactly compare to her leader, but decided against it.

She sighed, running a hand through her hair for a moment as she thought. "No, I don't WANT to go get involved with some shinigami... I mean, they could be our enemy any day. I don't need that kind of complication in my life. Plus, they're all so BORING." She continued trying to fix her hair so it fell right. "Besides, I wasn't planning on getting INVOLVED with anyone." She said, turning back to Saraiyu.

"I like my life here for the most part. Working for you, making friends with the other arrancar, I get to fight things and go on missions. I'm happy, really." She crossed her arms nervously, realizing she was just spilling way too much information, but she was on too much of a roll to stop. "I mean... I'm not nervous because I'm looking to start some relationship at this ball. It's just uh... I dunno... It's... It's been like... more then six years... Y'know..." she shrugged, hoping she wouldn't have to explain further what she meant.

Saraiyu looked at Elly and yawned as she pulled a few strands of her extremely long hair to her face. It was true, she was rather attractive and she turned to look in a mirror nearby. Casual did suit her, when she was in her tower. "I do like this look, however it is not how I wish to look much outside the tower. Its too informal."

"Well I used lovely and as I am the Corona and not one to compliment unnecessarily that must mean it is true." Sarai's lips thinned a bit as she watched the way the dress fell. It was lovely, but... She should try the rest.

The tall woman couldn't resist coming over though and playing with Elly's hair a bit. She moved it so it fell just right as Elly spoke. Bunching it up here or there with her hands she quickly sorted out a nice hairstyle that might work, though there were seven or eight more she had in her head. "I suppose they are boring compared to us. It's possible there are some who are amusing, the Soutaicho I imagine is going to be fun. She invited us and all... But that is not what you are saying at all."

She thought carefully over her next words. Obviously Elly was worried about this, though she was happy here as Sarai had worked towards. Sarai wouldn't have these problems, but she was old enough to have seen more than her fair share of things. Her bells jingled lightly as she stepped back and leaned on her heels. "You are more than those urges Elly, but... It bothers you that you might lose your control and do something with one against all your plans? Why not find an arrancar then to satiate them before the party, that way you aren't burdened like this? Do you prefer males, females or both? I'm sure we could find one."

She couldn't help but smile a bit as Saraiyu played with her own hair and admitted to preferring casual. It was always so hard to read the Corona. It was nice to know they were on the same wavelength about some things, anyway. "Makes sense. Got to keep everyone on their toes, right?" She said with a little smile before turning back to the mirror, arms still adamantly crossed. She didn't like how thin the straps were on this thing. It made the dress look like it was... straining or something. She crossed them a little tighter when Sarai reiterated her compliment, her face going just a little flush.

She recovered just a little when Sarai started playing with her hair, looking up with a little curious noise, before deciding to just let the Corona do as she please. She opened her mouth to say something to Saraiyu before the Corona clarified she knew what Elly meant. She blushed again. Why was she talking about this? Ugh. Damn it, Elly. Why are you explaining this to your Ruler, head of the Espada? There is no way sexual frustration is something she needs to hear about!

She turned slightly as Saraiyu stepped back, before looking a little quizzical as she started talking. It didn't BOTHER her, she was just confiding because she talks too much. It wasn't like she was going to lose control and let someone just.... She stopped herself from visualizing that, her face going a little red again. She crossed her arms, leaning against the mirror. "I... I don't know? I mean... I've only been with guys? So I don't know what the other side of that is LIKE... I mean... " she gave a self conscious 'ugh', "What are you talking about? Getting me laid?"

"On the toes they have left. I've been reading one of those... stories about gansters. Apparently cutting off fingers and toes is a great way to punish others. I wonder who needs less of those..." Saraiyu was making a joke as she grinned, she'd been alive long enough to know about many ways of torture. Cutting off nonessential parts was a nice way to do it.

Watching Elly's face go from blush to no blush to fine was quite amusing to the taller woman and she had to stifle a laugh. "Well, if you wish to know I am sure there are others who could help. And yes, I am talking about 'getting you laid'. If its an issue that bothers you, then its the simplest solution. However you are someone who probably wants a bit more companionship first, I think. If this topic bothers you we can switch, you do still have two dresses to change into."

Sarai walked over to them and held them up for Elly to see. A pretty white one and a pretty green one.

She smirked and refused to give a giggle to the toes joke. Oh lord. Who was letting the Corona read about gangsters? Well, okay, nobody LET her do anything. But someone had to be responsible for this. Oh crap, Elly could see it now. Driving through gargantas in old cars firing waves of balas at Shinigami. Strapping Sekkisekki blocks to people's feet and dropping them in water. Running 'protection services' for random hollows. Actually. That sounded a little like fun?

She gave a little sideways frown, crossing her arms in a much less self-conscious manner as Sarai continued to talk about it. "It doesn't BOTHER me... I dunno. I just... feel like it's lame? To get set up on dates? Especially by my boss and/or queen and/or... I don't know, is master applicable?" She raised an honestly curious eyebrow. "I'm amenable to the idea though." She walked over and looked between the two dresses before taking the white one with a little happy noise and walking behind the screen.

"And... companionship.... I..." She began pulling the blue dress off. Goodbye blue dress. Mayhaps we shall meet again soon. "If you meant by that like a relationship... It's... I guess something that I'm not looking for but I'm not NOT looking for." She picked up the white dress and took a deep breath. This one looked trickier to get into. "I mean, even when I was alive, I never bought into the whole "dating game". I liked being friends with someone and then maybe suddenly kissing? And then if we liked it, maybe kissing more?" She went about the task of getting the white dress on. Damn it, there was so much fabric. Where did she even..? "That's how it started with one of my boyfriends in high school." Because THAT was such an awesome sentence to say to the lord of the Arrancar. "My first boyfriend actually asked me out, but we mostly just hung out a lot. We were like, 16 though." She sighed, finally finding where she was at least supposed to START putting the damn thing on. Her voice was a little more muffled as she spoke. "And then there was Prom night... That was a one night stand, but... there was still chemistry afterwards. We stayed close. It could have become more.. Y'know, if I hadn't died and all." She said with a slight laugh. God she looked dumb. Dress halfway over her head.

"I guess.. 'Companionship' IS the best way to phrase it. A boyfriend or... girlfriend.." the words were uneasy coming out, "would just be too much hassle. All I really need is for there to be SOME sort of connection there... If that even makes sense?" WHAT was her head caught on. Were those laces? Did this thing have laces?

"I don't know what you would mean by Lame, but I suppose it could be awkward. My title is Corona, use it if you really are confused Elly, otherwise I don't care." Sarai yawned a bit and looked around. A thrall, sensing her wish, brought over one of her lounge chairs and the corona arranged herself on it and listened to Elly's thoughts. She made appropriate sounds whenever the girl stopped long enough for Sarai to get a word in edgewise, but really it was all venting and Sarai knew this by now.

Saraiyu did let out a loud laugh at the comment about Prom. This girl was such a surprise and fun to hear, so innocent yet not, strong and powerful. She never regretted taking her in and making her what she was now, not once. "You do make sense Elly, I have a few times in my life sought such out so I do understand a bit how you feel right now. For starters we can figure out if here are any here in the Las Noches who you do feel some sort of connection to we could strengthen? I suppose we could gossip too about them as well. I know Esmerelda is out of the question... Any new fraccions that are attractive?"

"Also are you in that thing or not yet, I wish to see how it looks."

Awkward was one way of putting it. She always felt awkward when her friends would try and set her up on blind dates. Getting set up for... whatever this was... and by HER, was ten times worse... but.. Well, it's not like she was doing awesome on her own... And she had to appreciate that Sarai was taking the time to even do this sort of thing. She felt a warm fuzzy feeling. Sometimes it was easy to forget that Saraiyu thought like a normal person. She was insanely powerful, the leader of a whole world of monsters... But as far as Elly could tell, this sort of thing granted her no tactical benefit. Even making Elly more focused, at her level of power, wasn't a great enough improvement to warrant this level of energy spent. No, this was... Well, it seemed presumptuous to even think, but... friendship, right? She smiled to herself and quickly finished getting the dress on.

"Well, I DO like to gossip." She said, grinning with a renewed vigor. "And oh my goodness, Esmerelda is RIGHT out. I have no doubt she knows what she's doing, but.. I'm not even sure if I'm into women and I don't think she has a "sweet and soft" mode to her love life..." although the way she described it sounded appealing in its own fun little way, the reality of how hectic and erratic Esmerelda could be was just waaaay too much for Elly. "Hmm.. Fraccions? I don't know... aren't all of our fraccions either little kids or old ladies? I'm not really... into that..." She crossed her arms, hrming to herself, forgetting to even show off the dress. "See, this is why it's even an issue. You and I are basically the only sane adults even here, now that Steinn left. And before you say anything, he always felt more like a big brother to me." She hrm'd, tapping her foot, before smirking. She walked over to Sarai's chair and leaned forward. "Y'know, I certainly wouldn't hate the Corona showing me a good time." She said with a cheesy grin that just screamed the fact that she was kidding. She knew too well how Saraiyu was to be at all serious.

"I think Esmerelda would send you back unable to walk. I've seen some of the ones she gets a hold of, though she did try once to sleep with me. It ended about as you'd expect and she didn't try again." Sarai yawned and waved to Elly to show off the dress. "Come over here, I am tired and do not wish to get up. Do a spin once you are closer."

"Steinn seems rather loyal to his bird and ladies he already has, but if you had interested I suppose I could have asked him as a favor. But you do have a point, we are rather overrun with a lack of options for you." As Elly got closer to her, Sarai noticed the way the white accentuated her tones and also the way the dress fell. The blue one looked garish in comparison. She was still shocked when Elly spoke about her showing her a good time though. It was probably one of the few times Elly had seen her make such a face, one of utter confusion and just... shock before it turned into laughter.

Sarai was crying by the time she got a hold of herself and she reached out and patted Elly's hair. "Oh little one, I am sorry but you are not my type. It takes quite a... special I suppose is the word for it, special person to make me want to do such things. I'm sorry, but you are more a friend or daughter than anything else."

She sighed, giving a bashful little laugh at the being unable to walk thing. "Trust me, that's the only reason the thought ever even crossed my mind... I - wait... Did you say she tried to get with YOU? How is she even ALIVE?" She laughed, trying to even imagine the scene. It was just too much. Once she was done laughing at the thought, she did some twirls on the way to Sarai's chair before making her joke.

She blushed. "Steinn? He's like a big brother, almost.." Okay, she didn't know him THAT well, but point was he had that feel... Besides... "And I mean big. LOOK at that guy. If he sneezed, he would rip me in half.." She shook her head, as if trying to chase out the image. Ugh. She needed brain bleach. She could practically hear Steinn laughing about it. However, that wasn't nearly as embarrassing as how Saraiyu reacted to her little joke.

At first she thought she was going to get mad. She blushed, realizing her joke might have been in poor taste... But then Sarai was laughing. She smiled, but gave a little not too serious frown, absentmindedly rubbing her stomach. Okay, it was a joke, but come on, she wasn't bad looking, right? She wanted to make a follow up joke along those lines when she got her head patted. She stuck her tongue out reflexively and shut her eyes when she got pat on the head, before smiling at Sarai's response. Okay, the Corona had taken her joke SUPER seriously. She was surprised that ANYTHING made Sarai want to do such things. Her smile disappeared for a little when Sarai said the word daughter. Her expression sunk a little, grew more somber. "Y..You don't mean that.." She said, forcing a smile back up and giving a little dismissive wave.

"She learned her lesson. I do know what I look like and I couldn't fault her for her nature. That she did not and has never tried again is more than I can say for some others." Saraiyu watched the twirls, thinking about how they fell around Elly and hmming to herself. It did suit her. Cute, somewhat subdued sexy but not none.

She had to agree with Elly's sentiment, leaning back in the chair. "You make good points, I didn't truly think that it would be even remotely possible. We could steal a human for you then? This bears thinking... I've heard Stockholm syndrome is an appropriate way to find a lover among them.... I am joking. Do not take it seriously..." The corona felt the need to make sure Elly knew she wasn't serious about that idea, merely jesting. The girl might take it wrong otherwise.

"I do mean it. Why would I lie? False flattery gets nothing but amusement at times when it is appropriate. This time is not one of those." Sarai had taken the problem to her head and was seriously considering an outcome that might help. She didn't seem to notice Elly's dismissal of the words though, or didn't acknowledge it at least.

"Well, she IS ... her. Honestly, I guess I'm more surprised she only tried the once." She crossed her arms, considering it. Hrm. She really was... That... vampire didn't seem to be able to control herself. "She seems so... single minded. I didn't think she had it in her to know someone who looks like you and not throw herself constantly." She sighed. "Sorry, I'm being mean. I'll stop."

"Hmm.. A human, huh? I don't know, having a good prisoner could be fun," she said with a laugh. She considered pointing out that she knew when Sarai was joking but... she looked at the Corona and smiled. No... she couldn't do it... She'd rather let the Corona be silly then correct her right now, especially after that last comment.

She also just had to smile as Saraiyu responded flatly. Nobody but the corona could tell someone they thought of them like a daughter and speak so flatly of the matter. She walked forward a bit and crouched down, flinging her arms around Saraiyu in her lounging chair, giving her a squeeze. "Thank you. And sorry." She said, standing up, her face beaming. She knew the Corona wouldn't be mad but she still felt bad springing a hug on her.
